　　2010年发行第二张专辑《TeenageDream》，专辑包括《CaliforniaGurls》、《Firework》、《E。T》等歌曲，成为首位在美国公告牌热门单曲榜中有5首冠军单曲来自同一专辑的女歌手。

　　2012年发行专辑《TeenageDream》的改版专辑《TeenageDream：TCC》，获得美国公告牌该年年度女性和全美音乐奖最受欢迎流行女歌手奖。2013年10月22日发行第三张录音室专辑《PRISM》。

　　KatyPerry对专辑第五支单曲LastFridayNight表示：“我曾经告诉过身边的人一些关于我拍摄的MV的细节，他们的反应基本都是大呼惊讶，然后说肯定会在互联网上大热。

　　我不知道该不该相信他们所说的话？在此我可以透露的是，MV的第一个镜头将会是我带着钢牙在学校的场景。”
