　　2014年初，在上海看了一场JamesBlunt的月球登陆演唱会。那天舞台的背景是一朵沙漠里的玫瑰，就像他惊艳的嗓音。

　　他背着吉他，从黑T恤换到白T恤，简简单单地唱着每一首歌，没有一句多余的话，将英国人的royal，noble，restrained发挥到极致。当YouAreBeautiful的吉他扫弦声响起，全场开始沸腾。我看到好多人都拿出电话，打给喜欢的人听。

　　YouAreBeautiful是JamesBlunt最出名的一首歌，讲述了一段在列车上偶遇的爱情。据说这首歌是他从军时，在坦克里写下的。当刚硬的军人唱起歌，那真的是无限的温柔。

　　JamesBlunt写的歌，不仅旋律动人，歌词也有史诗般的大气矜贵。他的歌中不仅有YouAreBeautiful式的告白，也有StaytheNight式的欢快，让人仿佛置身迈阿密的海滩，更有很多人文关怀和对历史、战争的思考。

　　这首歌是英国歌手詹姆斯·布朗特前女友迪希·崔西的。该歌曲在各榜单都取得不俗的成绩，获得多个奖项，还获得格莱美多项提名。詹姆斯·布朗特因为搞错了歌曲时间，所以在歌曲开头唱了两次“Mylifeisbrilliant”，没想到录制出来的令他十分满意，于是就有了现在的版本。
